Brainstem Gliomas

About This Condition

This cancerous tumour is found in the brainstem. They start in the brain or spinal cord tissue and typically spread through the nervous system. Around 75% are diagnosed in children and young adults under the age of 20, but they have been known to affect older adults as well.
