Tourette Syndrome

About This Condition

Tourette syndrome is a neurological disorder which causes repetitive, involuntary movements and vocalisations called tics. Most patients are diagnosed in early childhood and although there is no cure for the condition, it is not degenerative and symptoms may ease in the late teenage years and early adulthood.
